If you're new at Age of Empires 2 DE, this guide will give you a quick overview on the fastest way to improve. And it won't be overwhelming! In fact, it's quite simple:
1. Build Orders
Practice build orders against the AI until you have them perfect. Our video classes show you exactly how to execute the build orders and explain why.
2. Use Hotkeys
You can configure your hotkeys from AOE2 -> Options (button in main menu) -> Hot Keys (tab). Write them down and look at your notes occassionally throughout the day. Start to memorize them and start using them within your practices. Whenever you click on an icon in the game, learn the hotkey instead and use it the next time.
