Japanese men at arms in Four Lakes

Hello,

I have been practicing the Japanese men at arms in Four Lakes build order, I believe I am doing it right, but Im not sure for how many time should the dock builder keep fishing and which villager should make the barracks, since the document only says that barracks should be up after having 3 fishing ships.

My other question is, when I am in feudal I build 2 archeries and start making archers, then blacksmith for fletching, should I make any farms? o should I keep my food economy based in fishing.

Thank you.

Hey Juanferiv, I will add video of that build (i think currently might be the only build without video) but i will give you short and simple answers here too.
So you can just send villager from boar when you see you are getting close to the woodcount, alternatively use wood villager (if your lumber happens to be forward)
You can keep the dock villager fishing atleast the closest shore fish, you also have to option to use that villager as house builder and/or waller. Making outpost to see if enemy is sneak docking might not be the worst idea either.

About the farming; it depends a bit, you techincally don't need to make farms, but often you stack wood so making 3-5 farms isn't the worst idea. Try to send another villager around mid feudal to dock other lake, and keep adding fishing ships to your first one (however it's best to stop at 10-15 ships, and rather get new dock for better drop-off spot.

Let me know if you have any follow up questions,

Jupe
