The Lithuanian question... was created by Brandonriordan2007
I really enjoy putting on early pressure, so when I learned about the Lithuanian insta Drush, I was really excited. When I use this strategy I always intend on insta drush, generally with the drush, Ill lame a boar, and then head back to harrass making 1 or 2 more militia and M@A as I hit fuedal going into FC...monks out to get relics into kts or UU. My APM seems to limit me a little bit, generally falling behind vill production by 2 or 3 due to an idle TC. ...I guess my question would be, is the Lithuanian insta drush a viable strat? Should I just scrap it and give up on this strat? Any tips to help with APM?

Hey Brandon
It's very tricky strategy, high risk, high reward type. Also with that strategy even on very high elo it's really hard to get a good start with it. This is why i wouldn't recommend it because pulling it off with a good eco is very very tough.
When it comes to APM you first have to look if you are doing all the current stuff efficiently, are you using all the possible hotkeys? CNTRL groups with buildings? After that you'd look into how you spent your time. APM itself is not the easiest one to train, however there can be some practises for that. For example trying builds with fast speed, Booming in castle age with fast speed (trying the hardest to keep wood count at 0 )
Let me know if you have any follow up questions,
Jupe

Thank you for your response! I tend to play pretty well in early game, I can do decent damage with a drush and I can keep my units alive for a while. I tend to play pretty well until early castle.
Im a horrible boomer, most of my strat tends to be all in to end the game around 30 mins if possible. Do you have tips for booming? Its probably one of the weakest parts of my game.

Hey.
Check out these
www.aoebuilds.com/aoe2-classes/course/ao...ng/basics-of-booming
www.aoebuilds.com/aoe2-classes/course/es...game-boom-transition
www.aoebuilds.com/aoe2-classes/course/es...ght-opening-beginner
Those should be helpfull for you, but basically what you want to try and achieve is regardless of strategy;
Early-Late castle. Spend ALL of your resources, wheter it's booming, spend food on new villagers, wood on new farms or military/eco spend it on new units and new economy.
