Eco distribution while defending tower rush

If you put 5 on stone it usually is enough to keep defensive tower production. However you also need to consider if that is something that is needed, or isn't needed.

When you talk about inca tower rush, do you mean a villager+tower rush?

There are different ways of defending vs tower rush but those are heavily dependant on your map; If you can wall, all you need to do is wall and then make sure he doesnt break in. If he tries then you can do defensive tower there. If you can't wall then you need to figure out a plan; is it ok if he gets that area? Where do i need to put my first tower on? When and how hard do i need to go on stone; pre-emptive towers where? Or shall i stick with counter towering every time he tries to counter.
